IBPS CRP CSA-XVI Recruitment 2026 (Customer Service Associate)

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the CRP CSA-XVI Recruitment Notification 2026 for the recruitment of Customer Service Associates (CSA), formerly known as IBPS Clerk. This recruitment drive is being conducted for vacancies in various Participating Public Sector Banks for the 2027–28 recruitment cycle. Salary

Selected candidates will receive the following pay scale:

Basic Pay: ₹24,050 – ₹64,480

Apart from the basic salary, employees will receive several additional benefits, including:

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • Basic Computer Knowledge is mandatory.
  • Candidates should have studied Computer as a subject or possess a Computer Certificate/Diploma.
  • Candidates must be proficient in the local language of the State/UT for which they are applying.


Age Limit (As on 01 August 2026)

  • Minimum Age: 20 Years
  • Maximum Age: 28 Years

Candidate should be born between:

02 August 1998 and 01 August 2006 (both dates inclusive).

Selection Process

The recruitment process consists of the following stages:

  • Online Preliminary Examination
  • Online Main Examination
  • Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT)
  • Document Verification
  • Provisional Allotment

There is no interview for this recruitment. Final merit is prepared based on the marks obtained in the Main Examination only.

Negative Marking

  • 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

Local Language Requirement

Candidates applying for a particular State or Union Territory must be able to:

the specified local language of that State/UT.

Candidates who have studied the local language in Class 10 or above may be exempted from the Local Language Proficiency Test, subject to IBPS rules.
